Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within a SaaS or high-growth environment. Strong knowledge of Portuguese and international payroll regulations is essential, and experience with global payroll systems is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
The Payroll Expert will evaluate and select relevant software for running payroll, incorporating Deel product technology requirements, ensuring accurate and timely execution of payroll in their region and other trained countries, preparing and reconciling internal payroll reports, owning all critical local payroll and HR processes, including setting up involuntary deductions and supporting onboardings and offboardings, scheduling payroll expenses collections and reconciling collections to expenses, assessing and improving rapid growth processes and procedures, staying informed of relevant local regulatory and policy changes, and communicating key changes across teams.
